The job of an educator is to teach students to see vitality in themselves

We offer personalised literacy tuition for learners with dyslexia and literacy difficulties.  This employs bespoke and multisensory teaching methods.  Learners will increase in confidence and find accessing the curriculum is more achievable once they have the tools to enable their success.  

We can also offer guidance with study skills and revision techniques for those taking examinations.

Our multisensory, interactive approach supports a variety of individuals with SEN and all ages are welcome

From Little Things is able to offer training to educators and educational settings to inform best practice. 

Support is also available for parents and carers who wish to learn more.

A screening for dyslexia is available for those who may have dyslexia.  This will involve the gathering of background information; from family, educators and the individual together with the undertaking of a range of psychometric tests. 

The results will then inform whether or not a full diagnostic assessment should be made. The process itself can identify areas of strength or difficulty; with this information being informative.  

COMING SOON We can offer schools and colleges Exam Access Arrangement testing during term time.  This will allow schools to apply for Exam Access Arrangements with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) if a learner is eligible.

We can offer revision sessions and booster lessons for those undertaking the GCSE English Language and English Literature examination.  Sessions will tackle key areas of difficulty and will be supported by materials taken from a variety of sources to meet the learning styles of all. These booster sessions are designed to enhance the learner's in setting tuition and aid revision.

We can offer tutoring in all aspects of literacy using proven methods and multisensory teaching to allow struggling readers and writers to improve their skills, develop autonomy and self esteem. 

Sessions are bespoke and cumulative using the strengths and interests of the learner to maintain motivation within a calm and encouraging atmosphere.

We can offer Spanish tuition for all levels from novice to advanced.  In the run up to GCSE examinations revision sessions are available as well as comprehensive study programmes for learners wishing to learn Spanish on a 1:1 basis.  

Learning a language can be a challenging but rewarding hobby for those no longer in education but who are searching for a cognitive adventure.
